Aligning Your Chart of Accounts with SLI

SLI is Service Leadership Index, an operational system for your business with a focus on finance. It has been discussed heavily in Peer Groups such as ITNation Evolve...and lately a lot of IT/MSP businesses simply want the suggested SLI COA implemented.

But it’s not as simple as this...

SLI suggests a “standard COA” example, but it's not a perfect template that can be applied to every MSP business "cookie cutter".

We first have to start with a good understanding of what goals you have for your business, and what data you would like to see on your P&L. This is where a financial consultant, and one with a good understanding of an MSP business AND the ConnectWise ecosystem can be extremely helpful.

*No ability to forecast revenue or make intelligent business decisions
*No ability to budget correctly
*No ability to determine your next hire
*No ability to determine if you can sell, merge, or acquire
